SMS Terms of Service

These SMS Terms of Service ("SMS Terms") govern your use of the SMS (text message) program operated by Sugar + Spoon ("we," "us," "our"). By opting in to receive SMS messages from us, you agree to these SMS Terms.

Program description

Sugar + Spoon sends transactional and informational SMS messages related to your event inquiry or booking. Message types include event confirmations, headcount updates, day-of reminders, weather-related adjustments, and post-event thank-you or feedback messages.

How to opt in

You opt in by checking the SMS consent checkbox on our contact form at https://sugarspoondough.com/pages/contact or on our event booking form at https://sugarspoondough.com/events, or by providing express written consent during a direct phone or email inquiry. The checkbox is not pre-selected; you must manually check it to enroll.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on the status of your event and our communications with you. You may receive several messages around the time of your event and fewer messages otherwise.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Sugar + Spoon does not charge for the messages themselves, but your mobile carrier's standard rates apply.

How to opt out

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you reply STOP, you will receive a confirmation message and no further SMS messages, except as required to confirm your opt-out.

Supported carriers

Our SMS program is compatible with major U.S. carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Your phone number and message history are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.

Changes

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued participation in the SMS program after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
